SPECIAL SPACES

 

GREEN HOUSE & GARDEN

We have a garden and greenhouse upkept by the residents and many items grown in the garden are used in the kitchen.

THE E-DEN

The E-Den is our library and computer room where one can find books, puzzles, comfy reading chairs and a computer and micro reader.

RESIDENT KITCHEN

The resident kitchen is available for use for all residents set with all working appliances.

GALLERY 1212

Our Gallery 1212 is located throughout the building and in the Rosewood of local artists images.

SALON & SPA

The salon & spa is located just in the main entrance of the building and in room 25. It is open to appointments for the residents as well as the clientele the stylist brings with them.

ST ELIZABETH PARK

It is a beautiful park adjacent to The Elizabeth with a large open green space, walking paths, a cemetery and Frisbee golf.

OUTDOOR SOCIAL SPACES

There are outdoor social spaces all around the building used for BBQs and gathering of friends and family like the flower garden on the south wall of the building maintain by a few residents throughout the summer.

THEATRE

The Theatre is our well used screen and multipurpose room. Many resident activities take place in the theatre like meditation, nail spa, movie nights and special guest presentations.

STUDIO

The studio is our multipurpose room used for chair exercises, crafts, and even games on the pool or shuffleboard tables. There are two pieces of exercise equipment in the room for resident and staff use.

SUNROOM

The sunroom is located on the north end and is equipped with many windows to watch the beauty of mother nature’s flora and fauna.

 

AMENTIES

24 HOUR ALERT MONITORING

Our wireless panic alert immediately alerts the 24/7 monitoring station ensuring staff are aware that assistance is required by room number by the easy press of an alert button. Residents are encouraged to attach the multifunctional clip to any item they deem comfortable to have easy access to it should they need it.

PARKING STALLS

Residents with vehicles can utilize the parking lot that is easily accessible from the side doors of the Elizabeth. The lot has both electrical and non-electrical stalls for vehicles and even scooters.

HOUSEKEEPING

Housekeeping is available through the Elizabeth for an additional cost. Residents can also choose to have a family member do their housekeeping and laundry.

GUEST MEALS

When restrictions are lifted, residents are encouraged to have their family or friends come and spend time with them. Guest meals are available for purchase and residents can make those arrangements with kitchen staff 24 hours before guests are expected to arrive.

WIFI INTERNET

Residents can access our Wifi throughout the common areas at no additional charge.

MAIL SERVICE

Need something mailed out? No problem, we can get that sent for you.

LAUNDRY FACILITIES

There are two laundry locations which feature washers and dryers, garbage containers, folding counters, laundry cart and ironing board and iron. Residents are required to bring their own detergent and softener and asked to follow posted laundry schedules.

SHUTTLE SERVICES

Round trips in town for less than the cost of a taxi!
Pre-book by appointment to head anywhere you need to go.

24 HOUR SECURITY

All of our entrances throughout the building are locked 24 hours a day. Each resident is given a fob that will open any outside door at any time and our main doors are open from 7am-10pm for visitors that must check-in. The building also features a closed circuit security camera system that monitors all of the common areas.

ADDITIONAL STORAGE

Each resident has access to a small storage locker on the lower level and is available to accommodate seasonal decorations, suitcases clothing or other items.
Residents are required to supply their own lock.

UTILITIES INCLUDED

Included in your monthly rental amount is heat, water and power. Residents are required to have a landline or mobile phone.

CABLE TV

All of our suites are wired for cable tv of your choosing. Cable hook-up through Sasktel or Access and monthly bills for either are the responsibility of the residents.

PETS

Pets are a welcome addition as long as they meet our safety and allergy restrictions, are required to be up to date on all applicable vaccinations and must fit into the our description of a “small animal” (15-110cm at shoulder and under 25lbs). If you have a pet and are wondering if they would be allowed, please contact us.

WALK-IN TUB & SHOWER

We have a walk-in tub, shower and a soaker tub available for all residents and home care.
